A tax preparer’s job is a lifelong learning affair! Steve comes from the Quinte Region originally, and has two college Diplomas from Loyalist College; Accounting and Professional Sales.
He is also certified by the National Payroll Institute of Canada as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner. Now living in Mississauga, he has lived in various cities around S/E Ontario and teaches these same subjects for triOS College.
He also taught these same subjects at his alma mater – Loyalist College.
Steve worked in another accounting and tax firm, years back, with his father, Donald Potts. After they sold the company and Steve had moved around a little, he settled in the Golden Horseshoe and went back to work teaching, preparing taxes and working as a consultant to Small Business owners, and of course, individuals requiring tax help. Accounting-4-U was started officially in 2015, in Mississauga. The name reflects that the work being done for you means Steve works for YOU.
